Seoul Immigration Office will operate an exclusive service counter for international students to expedite processing and reduce bottleneck during September(when student immigration-related inquiries tend to surge). We encourage international students to make use of this service.

A. Operating Period and Hours

• Thursday, September 18, 2025 ~ Friday, September 19, 2025
• 09:00 ~ 18:00 (Lunch break: 12:00 ~ 13:00)

B. Eligible Users: International students under Seoul Immigration Office jurisdiction with the following visa status

• Study Visa: D-2-1 ~ D-2-8
• Language Training: D-4-1, D-4-7

C. Available Services: Foreigner registration, visa extension, change of visa status (within student visa categories)

D. Important Information

• Students who already have scheduled appointments or are eligible for online applications are encouraged to use existing methods
• Students who did not participate in the first group application but need to complete foreigner registration are recommended to visit this exclusive counter

 

서울출입국외국인청에서 유학생 체류민원이 급증하는 9월에 신속한 업무 처리 및 민원 혼잡도 분산을 위해 유학생들을 대상으로 하여 유학생 전담 창구를 운영할 예정이오니, 학생들의 많은 이용 바랍니다.

나. 이용대상: 서울출입국외국인청 관할 외국인 유학생 중 다음 체류자격 소지자     

• 유학: D-2-1 ~ D-2-8   
• 어학연수: D-4-1, D-4-7   

다. 민원종류: 외국인 등록, 기간 연장, 체류자격변경 (유학생 체류자격 내)   

라. 안내사항     

• 이미 방문예약이 되어 있거나, 전자민원이 가능한 대상자는 가급적 기존 방법 이용
• 외국인등록 중 단체 접수 1차 미참여자의 경우 창구 방문 권장
