Fall 2025 Application for SNU Visiting Student Program

The Visiting Student Program at Seoul National University (SNU) is available to students from non-partner universities who wish to study at SNU for one or two semesters as non-degree seeking students. The application process involves three steps: 1) completing the online application, 2) paying the application fee of 82,000 KRW, and 3) mailing the application documents (original hard copies). The application period is from Feburary 10 to March 10, 2025 (Korean Standard Time).

2) Application Fee Payment (82,000 KRW)

The sender’s name must match the applicant’s name. Use your own bank account or change the sender’s name to your name if using a parent’s account. Applications will not be processed if the sender's name does not match.

- Official Transcript

- Certificate of Enrollment

- Receipt of wire-transfer for Application fee

- Financial Certificate (Appendix 4, for non-Korean applicants)

- Approval Letter (Appendix 5, from home university)

 

• Important Note

Any transfer/processing fees should be borne by the applicant. Ensure the exact application fee amount of 82,000 KRW is received. If the transferred amount is less, applicants may need to send the remaining amount. The application fee is non-refundable. Confirm with your university coordinator if your university is a non-partner of SNU before transferring the fee.

Please note that applications will not be processed if the application fee (82,000 KRW) is not paid or if ALL required documents are not submitted by post by the deadline of Feburary 10, 2025. Non-Korean applicants must submit the Financial Certificate.
