The Australia-Korea Foundation invites expressions of interest to participate in the third Korea Australia Future Youth Forum and the fifth Korea Australia Future Forum (KAFF), to be held in Seoul on 14 and 15 July 2026.
About the program
The KAFF is a flagship 1.5 track dialogue covering the breadth of the Australia-Republic of Korea (ROK) Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. It brings together Australian and Korean senior representatives from government, academia and industry to engage in dialogue on key areas of future bilateral cooperation, including:
(a) strategic and security cooperation;
(b) economic, trade and technological cooperation; and
(c) social and cultural cooperation (e.g. through diaspora engagement, youth exchange, creative collaboration and higher education partnerships)
The Youth Forum, held the day prior, provides a platform for 10 Australian and 10 Korean emerging leaders to contribute ideas and engage in discussion on these themes. It is designed to prepare participants for active involvement in KAFF while fostering valuable professional networks for future collaboration. Selected delegates may also have the opportunity to present their insights during the Youth Forum and to senior leaders in KAFF.
This event is co-hosted with the Korea Foundation.
